What is the difference between a hotel and a resort?
On the surface, both are designed to be a home-away-from-home, providing rest and comfort and offering a chance to recharge.
This is close to where the similarities end. Resorts are designed to be destinations in themselves. A place orchestrated so that visitors don’t have to leave the property to have every need met if they desire.
The days of bleak towers casting shadows on white sand beaches are (thankfully) out of style as forward thinking travelers have started to demand more from these properties.
