Best Las Vegas shows and concerts in October 2024

Fall is here and though the weather is a bit more manageable for our little city in the desert, it doesn’t mean that the concert and show scene in Las Vegas has cooled down at all. At this point, the city is gearing up for incredible new shows and residencies as well as spectacular sports events like Formula 1 racing (Nov. 21-23).

This is not a comprehensive list of every concert or show in Las Vegas in October, just the one we deem the very best of the group.

The Eagles at The Sphere

Formed in 1971, The Eagles achieved massive success in the 1970s with a string of hit albums and singles, including “Take It Easy,” “Hotel California,” and “Desperado.” Their 1976 album, Hotel California, is considered one of the greatest rock albums of all time. The Eagles have won six Grammy Awards and are one of the best-selling bands in history, with over 150 million records sold worldwide. Despite lineup changes and a breakup in 1980, the band reunited in 1994 and continues to tour, solidifying their legacy as one of rock’s most enduring and influential groups.

Foreigner at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

The legendary band says goodbye to the Las Vegas Strip with a two-part residency at the Venetian Theatre with its “Feels Like The Last Time Farewell Tour,” with shows stretched between March and April and then October and November.

Responsible for some of rock and roll’s most enduring anthems, including “Juke Box Hero,” “Cold As Ice,” “Hot Blooded,” “Waiting For A Girl Like You,” “Feels Like The First Time,” “Urgent,” “Head Games,” “Say You Will,” “Dirty White Boy,” “Long, Long Way From Home” and the worldwide #1 hit, “I Want To Know What Love Is,” FOREIGNER still rocks the charts more than 40 years into the game with massive airplay and continued Billboard Top 200 album success.  Audio and video streams of FOREIGNER’s hits are over 15 million per week.

Maroon 5 at Park MGM Las Vegas

Maroon 5 has garnered numerous awards and accolades throughout their career, firmly establishing themselves as one of the most successful pop-rock bands in modern music. The band has been awarded three Grammys, including Best New Artist in 2005. Their hit singles such as “Moves Like Jagger,” “Sugar,” and “Girls Like You” have dominated charts worldwide, including topping the Billboard Hot 100 multiple times. They’ve collected several awards, including American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and MTV Video Music Awards, that have further cemented their icon status. The band also performed at the Super Bowl LIII halftime show in 2019.

Carrie Underwood at The Theatre at Resorts World

Carrie Underwood shot to fame after winning American Idol in 2005 and quickly established herself as a leading figure in country music. She has earned several Grammy Awards, multiple Country Music Association (CMA) Awards, and Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards. Her influence in both country and mainstream music continues to grow and makes her one of the top artists of her generation and around the world.

Donny Osmond at Harrah’s Las Vegas

Donny Osmond has spent six decades in the worldwide spotlight as an illustrious and celebrated artist and performer. In his legendary career, he has earned 33 gold records and sold over 100 million albums. He has found a new solo home at Harrah’s Las Vegas after a nearly 11-year run at Flamingo Las Vegas, where he co-headlined with his equally talented sister, Marie.

Carlos Santana at House of Blues Las Vegas

Legendary guitarist Carlos Santana continues his House of Blues Las Vegas run. Garth Brooks at Caesars Palace

No one in country music brings as much energy and bravado to the stage as Garth Brooks. He is the bestselling solo artist in U.S. history with over 170 million albums sold, including his 18-times platinum No Fences album.

Kool & The Gang at Westgate Las Vegas

The masterful funk group continues their 2024 Las Vegas residency at Westgate Resort & Casino with two October dates.

Lionel Richie at Wynn Las Vegas

The 2022 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee returns to Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas with an all-new show titled “King of Hearts.” Richie will be belting out all of his fantastic hits including “All Night Long,” “Easy,” and, of course, “Hello.” Four Grammy Awards, over 125 million albums sold, an Oscar Award… Lionel Richie is who everyone is looking for.

Barry Manilow at Westgate Las Vegas

Barry Manilow has amassed 50 Top 40 hits and over 85 million albums sold worldwide. Dude is a legend. His smash hit show at the Westgate has been extended through 2025.

Keith Urban at Fontainebleau (limited engagement series)

Keith Urban is a renowned country music singer, songwriter, and guitarist known for blending country with pop and rock influences. Earth, Wind & Fire at The Venetian Theatre (limited engagement series)
